Random Wedding Updates

I’ve been a busy little bee in the past week!

-Went to the Paper Source store in Georgetown and got my place cards in luxe blush, which is the perfect pale, pale pink I’m going for. I also got some other papers in this color for other projects I’m working on, and my MOH and I looked at the calligraphy pens, as she is addressing out invitations for us.
-Second guessed my choice of wedding dress. I’m worried that I’m going to have to pay costly alterations when it arrives. I’m still worried about this, but this dress is my second choice and while I think it is a lovely dress, it doesn’t give me that same feeling of the first dress. So, I think I’m going to suck it up and hope for the best. Well, that’s if I don’t change my mind again in the next week before we place the order.
-I made some progress with my invitations! I think we may be able to go with letterpress for real and that really, really excites me. I will talk about this more in the next week or so.
-I made some progress with my whole board game theme. I will soon be purchasing bulk scrabble tiles for a particular project I’m excited about!
-Our monograms were finished by the wonderful Ashley of 2BirdStone!

I love the design of this one. I’d love to turn it into a wall decal for our apartment or something. It’s my desktop wallpaper at work!

She altered a design she made for another bride for this one, and I love it!

I have a lot more little stuff to work on, but I am really pleased with my progress, most of the large items are checked off my list!
